Veterinary Care Fund

Help us cover veterinary costs for our rescued animals and ensure they thrive.

At Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, we believe that every animal deserves a life filled with love and the best possible care. Recently, we provided significant veterinary services to several of our cherished rescued farmed animals.

Now they need your help!

In our initial round of care:

  • Petunia needed Baytril, a Hoof Boss trim, and cytology.

  • Tofu and Tahini both received a Hoof Boss trim.

  • Black Beauty had exudate removal/flush procedures and were given Mupirocin ointment.

  • Little Dorrit had his legs examined to determine next steps for long term care.

  • Doris got a hoof trim, Excenel AB, and cytology.

  • Violet required cytology, Tylan Powder, Cd/T, a Dex steroid, and Rhinishield and Lepto vaccines.

  • Pammy, Izzy, and Carlos were given Excenel AB and Valbazen.

  • Bleau and Sophia got HWT, ProHeart, and Panacur.

  • Faun was given Baytril.

  • Toothless had a Kidney Panel.

  • Priscilla received a nail trim.

Following these treatments, our veterinary team conducted a farm visit to recheck the animals and administer follow-up care:

  • Farm call & exams

  • Four recheck exams

  • Peep Got her hooves trimmed

  • Manny Got his hooves trimmed & his horn trimmed back

  • Hamilton Got his ears examined and cleaned along with a Rabies vaccine.

  • Petunia Got more Animax ointment for her abscess

In addition to our recent vet care, we also have hoof maintenance scheduled for the rest of our crew here on the farm. The following residents will get hoof maintenance this month!

Ms. Dory, Harley, Peggy Sue, Pearl Jam, Kevin, Griffin, Daisy, Dottie, Kiki, Petri, Carlos, Pammy, Izzy, Olaf, Elsa, Stevie + all of the cow crew!

These rechecks and follow-ups are crucial to ensure the health of our animals and monitor their recovery from previous treatments.

As you can see, providing the necessary care for our animals can be expensive. Our latest veterinary invoices totaled $2,477.00 and our scheduled hoof maintenance will cost ~$1,200. With your help, we can cover these costs and ensure our animals continue to receive the best care possible.

Please consider donating today to help us reach our goal of $3,700.00. Your support is vital to our mission and will be greatly appreciated by both our team and our beloved animals.

Together, we can ensure that animals like Petunia, Tofu, Tahini, Black Beauty, Little Dorrit, Doris, Pammy, Izzy, Carlos, Bleu, Sophia, Faun, Toothless, Priscilla, and all their friends continue to thrive at Love Life Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Thank you for your generosity and support.
